Previous comment about this being an all-aluminum frame are incorrect. The frame is aluminum and carbon fiber as can plainly be seen. Aluminum is fairly light and with the lighter carbon seat stays it's even lighter and less harsh than without the carbon stays. I have an actual all-aluminum Pinarello Galileo which I love (even on century rides), so this frame is even nicer. Pinarello is a master Italian frame builder and this bike has geometry that guarantees it will handle beautifully.

okay, so before i got this bike i searched all over, websites, stores and elsewhere for about two months. everything i looked at was okay, there was something on it that, though minor, made me not want it. and if was perfect, the price was not. then one day i just typed in the word "pinarello" in the search here and was extremely surprised to see this bike. at eye contact i said to myself and my woman, that's the bike. there were no ifs or whats. so we got it. i was going to leave feedback stating what a sweet, incredible machine this girl is yesterday when i had put it together and not even ridden it. but the woman was like wait and ride and then see. so here i am, with a sore rear end (i couldn't find my bibs, of all the days). this bike is stiff. i road a trek 5000 (carbon) a couple years back and couldn't quite get the meaning. but now i know, and i love it. i was warned by a previous review on a different site not to pump the tires to maximum psi because at high speeds the bike likes to skip around. im glad i did. from 100 i went to 90, and the thing was still amazing. it craved speed whether i was even trying to get up to speed. it climbed hills as good as it went down them. the bike was awesome, is awesome, i am extremely satisfied with this machine. the seat is amazing for stock, and so are the rest of the things, but one: the shimano front derailleur. a couple times on my ride i had trouble finding a spot where to shift the thing without having the chain rattle against it. i;ll take a closer look and do some adjusting, but overall by far, this bike is wonderful. im not sure what the person with the lower rating and others that have underrated this beauty have against this bike. it is an extreme machine, beautiful paint, awesome tubing, a phenomenal name, pretty light for the price (and im NOT saying its heavy), everything. i cant stop talking about this thing. IT IS THE BIKE!! [...] also, lance's book "its not about the bike" is true, but to a point: this time its about YOU and THIS bike! good luck!
