I'd give these a 3.5, but there are no half-stars. The cons: 1) cheaply made, tubes split easily during assembly. Be very, very gentle when pushing lights and bases in. 2) Conflicting instructions - paper says to leave tabs in until charged, tabs say they must be removed for batteries to charge. Reality is it doesn't make any difference. Pros: amazingly bright for such little lights (especially as I am on a heavily wooded lot and they don't get a lot of open sun), easy to place, lightweight. At the price, even if they only last a few seasons, they are a bargain.

We were really excited when we received this especially when they lit right up after shipping on a cloudy day, no less. Unfortunately, one has already died and made its way to the trash-a bit disappointing, but I guess you get what you pay for.

These lights are fine--made of plastic, not real bright, but they look good at night. They provide a nice, soft light. One of them did not work. The battery was ok, so it must have been in the wiring. Another just was not as bright as the others. I ordered 2 sets so I still had plenty since they come 6 in a box.
