Pistil Ribbed Headband (For Women)

Nice soft non-itchy knit. Holds hair back like a headband and is not squeezing my head like other hairbands. Adjustable shell button so it is very versatile and sizes easily in an unlimited range of sizes. I wore it skiing and it kept my ears warm, then after I wore it as a stylish headband just off my ears. Only con is that the button is real mother of pearl and will probably break as it is thin...no biggie to replace with a sturdier one though.

Gave one of these to each of my daughters, one liked it and the other didn't. She gave hers to me, so I'll wear it. It's very cute, and warm on moderately cold winter days.

The headband is good looking and has some subtle variation in the yarn color. There was a button to fasten but no buttonhole, and it was about 4 inches too short. But I kept it because I like the way it looks and a friend can knit the added inches needed.

Liked the soft look and feel of this. But even when I stretched it, the ends wouldn't meet around my head. And I couldn't find any kind of button hole, and one end was coming unraveled. Maybe I just got a bad one. Needless to say, it's gone back.

Cute headband, but was bummed to find out there was nothing to attach the button to the other side, thus not allowing the headband to close. I forced the issue through the knitting but I'm guessing that's not going to hold long...

These are great. I got both the gray and the brown colors, and both are very attractive and coordinate with any number of my other things. I tend to get a little chilled in the house during winter, and this provides just enough warmth without overheating me. I didn't think it would be enough of a hat for use outdoors-- but actually I took my dog for a walk in our cold & windy December weather, and I was surprisingly warm with just the headband on. Unlike another reviewer, I found these work fine with my thin, fine hair. My only concern is how they will hold up over time, since they're made of acrylic. Normally I'm something of a fiber snob and only buy real wool, but these were so cute and so reasonable I couldn't resist. I'm really glad I went for it!

This is very hippie chic. It's not itchy and looks so good on. I saw this same one in another trendy clothing catalog for [$] so was excited to see it here for so much less. I use it for more a winter hat since it can be quite warm to use it as a headband indoors.

This headband would do well on someone with thick hair.

I love this headband. I throw it on when I don't feel like doing my hair. :) Nice alternative to a hat.
