Plow & Hearth Vintage Decorative Throw Blanket - Crochet, Cotton

The throw is attractive, but it is rough and uncomfortable to use. It was a gift for my daughter and she can decide if she wants to return it.

VERY NICE AND DECORATIVE. MUST WASH BEFORE USING TO SOFTEN THE THROW. BEING CHROCHED IT'S A BIT STIFF.

This throw has a mulitute of uses..it is like the ones you can buy at the store..but this one is different..it would look good on a homey couch..it has a beautiful patten..very starch and flexible too..you could use it on a dark bedcover to show the beauty of the designs and even a tablecloth cover with a darker color under it..I hope they have a couple more..I am buying 2 more..you will not find this in a regular store..I have thought of more uses then the ones I mentioned..jeannie

I love my throw, I bought it to put at the foot of my bed. I washed it when I took it out of the package because it was a stiff. It looks great on my bed.

The product is called a throw, but one would not actually use it as a cover-up for warmth, as it is cool, very open cotton crochet... However, it makes a gorgeous table cover! Out of the package, it is stiff with sizing. After one wash - I would recommend a front-loading washer because they're more gentle - the item is nice and soft. I folded mine in thirds down the length and looped it over several hangers to air dry, and then gave it a final air-fluff in my dryer. It came out great! If you prefer a more flat and formal look, you'll need to iron it (steam). This is a really lovely item at an excellent price... It's all hand made!
