Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by We4ski from Utah on Monday, January 4, 2016I ordered another product in July 2015 and ordered this product in December 2015. I thought they were the same product but was mistaken. Point6 Surefoot Ultralight Compression Socks - Merino Wool are compression socks and these are not. Decent socks but not as good of support as the Point6 Surefoot Ultralight Compression Socks - Merino Wool. That product is no longer available on Sierra Trading.
Reviewed by We4ski from Utah on Friday, December 25, 2015I bought these socks before I read the other review that they were not actually compression socks. I love them and work on my feet all day. They do provide a good amount of compression. I have heard people say how hot and uncomfortableness "true" compression socks are but these felt great. Just enough compression to decrease swelling and very comfortable.

Reviewed by NYskiMom from New York on Saturday, December 22, 2012These are over the calf ski socks. They are NOT compression socks and are inaccurately titled that way in the product description. I ordered three pair and returned two of them because they are not as described. Nowhere on the product packaging do they say they are compression socks either. They are over-the-calf ultralight ski socks. Because they are ultralight, they can be worn as an everyday sock, not just for skiing or snow sports. They are not a bad product (hence why I kept one pair), just not what they advertised.

This brand does not have a compression rating for their sport compression socks.
“What is the compression rating of these socks? I suggest this be included in the specifications.||I question that the specifications indicate "Machine wash/dry" given the wool content is 59%. Wash, yes, but machine-dry wool?”
This brand does not have a compression rating for their sport compression socks. When a brand provides compression information we do provide it. The socks are merino wool which does not shrink like common wool. Merino wool garments can be machine washed cold/warm and machine dried on cool setting.
