Polar Wrap Exchanger ST Mask

Cannot recommend this for any activity requiring heavy breathing: too restrictive, and doesn't really get a good seal without the user effectively pursing their lips. Essentially, it amounts to breathing thru a Brasso scouring pad. Useless for any sort of exercise, I can only surmise using it for snowmobiling or downhill skiing, where you have a motor or ski lift doing the heavy lifting for you.

Great accessory for the price. Better than using a bandana, like I usually do, but not as easy to get a snug fit. Great bargain though!

You can breath through it. Is awkward to keep on your head. Some of the wires that you are supposed to breath through sometimes poke out. Worth the price if you need something like this.

This wrap seems top be a bit of a gimic. I can't see how this works any differently than a scarf. Worn as instructed leaves the lower neck exposed. I will use this when I dont have room for the bulk of a scarf under my jacket. I used it once doing winter photography, standing in the wind, and it certainly kept me warm, but I do not think it was because of the design.

My dad uses the mask simply for helping him to be able to do the everyday stuff that people take for granted. Just being able to now go out when it is cold without feeling the awful effects of his chest condition(COPD) Thank you for this product. My Mum has one too and they both wear them. They look like they are going on a Bank robbery when they wear them together if you ask me but they don't care because it gets them out the house. THANK YOU...

I feel if I had a larger head or wore it over my helmet - it might stay in place. It just falls down every five seconds - more annoying than functional. It does feel as if it would be really warm if it worked.

I haven't taken it out on the slopes yet, but I don't see myself using this. I tried it on and it doesn't fit snuggly to my face or jawline. It also seems like it would fall down around my neck as I move around.

The VERY first time I went to try it on a side of the stiching for the velcro pulled away from the cloth. :(

Although I haven't had the chance to try out the product in cold weather, yet, the mask seems extremely warm. The down side is that I doubt I'll have much use with it except for climbing a fourteener or such during winter. This mask is bulky and heavy compared with my "regular" neoprene facemask that has suited me well. I just thought this item may come in handy some day.

Difficult to get it to stay on right. Even if you do its diffucult to breath through when you are exerting yourself. Too warm for anything but very cold weather (0 deg F or lower). Useful for very cold weather at low levels of exertion (ie camp, sleeping)
