Powder River Canvas Vest (For Kids)

I purchased 3 vests for my kids. One was indigo in color and on the computer it looked pink. I should have known better about what color indigo actually was, but I just looked at the color on the computer and assumed it was right. I love the vests and will keep the indigo one even though it wasn't the color I was expecting.

I purchased these vests so the gradchildren could sew on National Park patches and collect pins from places they visit.

Fishing is fine but I'm gonna be keepin warm in Chicago w/ this over a sweater, under a shell. I'm a small woman, youth large fits perfect. STURDY! Cool lookin, maybe w/ jeans & a pair of boots.

I bought this vest for my son as an alternative to the red felt vest often worn by Cub Scouts to display their patches that they can't wear on their uniforms. I bought it a little large hoping that it will get him through at least 3 years of scouting. Although it seems true to size, it might be a little small for all the patches he might be getting along the way if we stay as active in our pack as we have been. Although durable, with nicely made and easily closed (good for kids!) silver-colored metal snaps, the finish on this vest is not exactly well done. That being said, it's perfect for a boy who doesn't give a hoot about finish, but wants to run around the place and not have to worry whether he's going to wear this one out or not--trust me, he's not going to. I gave it 4 stars only because the interior edges are surged and not sewn down as well.

Works well for kids durable for boys rugged nature.
