    A lot of vests are tailored to fit under something else, this one is more of any outerware, in that they left room to layer under it, but also put elastic in the waist. I use it in place of a coat even on cold days.

    I'm 6'3" and wear at least a 46 Long and in some cuts, an Extra Long. This vest is made for guys at least 3-4" taller in the TORSO, not just the legs. It came down to my hips--about like a sport coat. Otherwise, the weight of the wool and metal buttons were attractive, but nothing special. I would have gladly kept it if it was a reasonable length.
