“The 4 piece 8 weight rod performed excellently on 5-15 pound silver, pink and chum salmon for 14 straight days in Alaska, but on day 15 the second section of the 4 piece rod split where the first section is inserted leaving the rod useless. Either the rod had some defects or its not very durable. A rod of this size and expense should last a lifetime not two weeks.”
