Closeouts. The warm plaid face of prAna's Baxter shorts make the pair ideal for causal wear, but with two-way stretch cotton, these versatile shorts are up for trail hikes, too, when the outdoors compel you.

If these are the kind of thing you're looking for, you'll love 'em. Sounds like a truism, I know, but you know what I mean. The length is the modern, long inseam..I'm 5-11 and these hit just about at the knee. For some that is just too long to be deemed a short and feels a bit..awkward. For those used to longer inseam shorts, these fit the bill nicely. Material is fantastic, just the right amount of stretch, while still feeling durable and like they'll last a long time. Fit is pretty true..I usually wear a 33" waist, and the 33 was the right size in these. In fact, they will stretch out in the waist as the day goes on (true of most any short), and the need for a belt comes into question. Personally, I don't have a lot of shorts like this, sort of casual, modern long length jobbers, but I really like these, not to mention they get a lot of compliments. These are a nice, slightly 'dressier' look and feel..a really nice short to have in my collection of hiking and running shorts.
