prAna Bronson Jacket (For Men)

I really love this jacket because it looks stylish, fits well and does not feet too constricting when moving. It is not very warm but it blocks wind very well.

The cotton edges around the front pockets are softer than the rest of the material and they are starting to get a little fuzzy but it is not really noticeable.

This quickly became my favorite jacket for daily wear. It is durable, weather and stain resistant, stylish, and very versatile. On cool days (25-50F) it is my go-to jacket for work (worn with shirt/tie) or casual wear. I got the charcoal color, and it goes well with pretty much anything short of formalwear. The jacket holds up nicely to light weather (sleet, light snow, light rain) and seems stain resistant. I look forward to wearing this sturdy jacket for years to come. Also, Prana engages in ethical production practices, making this jacket all the more enjoyable to wear.

Prana happens to fit me right. 6'1" 205 and I bought an XL. I have 35.5" arms and the sleeves are just right. Arm hole could be bigger though as it appears this is a slimmer cut. Especially like the bit of stretch Prana putt in. Contrasting stitching and blue liner on the charcoal is pretty cool.

I have lots of technical and semi-technical jackets, so it's nice to kind of have one of these in the closet. Comfortable fit, and the fabric has a welcome bit of stretch. Just a touch of quilted insulation, which is nice. Pockets are good, though I would far prefer a chest/napoleon pocket over the zip thing on the arm..I don't really understand upper arm pockets. But, so be it. Even the internal pocket has a zip on it, which is nice, so I throw my smartphone in there. A note on sizing, they run pretty true to size. I am 5-11, 185 and often wear Large in jackets but do have some mediums depending on the brand. The medium in this piece was way too snug, so I needed to get the Large instead. Even in the large I don't see myself wearing too many mid layers. For me this fits best over a t-shirt or thin baselayer; much more than that and it starts feeling a bit tight in the shoulders. Sleeves were plenty long, but I don't have ape arms or super wide shoulders. Cuffs have double snap closure which both looks good on this jacket plus is functional. I often wear this jacket with the cuff unsnapped and rolled up a turn. Makes it easy to take on and off and no constriction or rub on the wrist, nice. I don't know if I'd have gone for this jacket at full price, but with an STP sale I pulled the trigger and glad I did.

Comfortable, stylish, and feels and looks great. Charcoal color is perfect. Highly recommended.
