Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I'm tall and usually a size 8. I 1st tried the med. size and the fit was snug and fine if I only wore a light shirt. I exchanged for a lg and it still looks fitted and flatters. The sleeves are long which is difficult for me to find. It's more of a sweater jacket.
