prAna Ranger Pants (For Men)

These are nice pants with a nice fit. I would have given them 5 stars except the snap-up feature is a little cheesey. It works OK, but so does just rolling up your pant leg which is essentially what you do with these, and then snap. I was expecting something that would make them look a little better when rolled up. Still, they are nice pants, fit well and are worth keeping.

I like the Prana brand and have other similar pairs of Prana pants. My other 36 waist Prana pants have fit nicely but these felt snug below the belt around the mid hips. I had to return them. Otherwise these lightweight synthetic pants are great for hot days when shorts leave one exposed to bugs and poison oak.

These pants replaced another pair of stretch Pranas that unfortunately I spilled paint on. These don't stretch, but are otherwise perfect. They roll up if you need them to, and generally look great and feel good.

Bought these for my husband, who was looking to augment his favorite prAna Centaur pants. The 36" seems a little loose in the waist compared to all his other prAna pants, but at 70% cotton they may shrink a bit in the wash. Sadly, no crotch inset so they won't be good for climbing. However, he loves the light weight and breathability of the fabric and says they are his new hiking pants! They look nice enough for work, too. The roll-up snaps are low profile and useful, since his other pants cuffs always fall back down as he moves.
