    Ordered my usual size and the fit was spot on. I am 5'10" and weigh 145 and a size 8 fits just right. It seems hard to find a non-bermuda length short these days, so I was happy with the not-too-short and not-too-long length. They are slightly sheer, so appropriate color/non-patterned undergarment required.

    There really isn't much stretch to these at all. I was hoping for something that would move with me, a bit more loose and casual, but these are rather crisp and tight - not to mention a touch see-through. If I'd tried these on in store I would not have bought them.

    Not too short but also not frumpy looking. These Tess shorts are cut just right, and are so comfortable that I forget I'm not wearing my gym shorts. I wish they had better colors for travel though, as I'm not much into light blue or white when on the road. My daughter, who is 15 and a rock climber, wears these, and so do I, so they appeal to a wide variety of ages and body types.

    I'm very modest about showing leg and although these are shortish, they still provide a good amount of coverage. The fit is nice especially with the drawstring and they're very stretchy so you can move around without them getting baggy after a few hours. The waist is a little low in the back, but other than that these shorts are great!
