“Good value, annoying switch”

“This is a rugged little flashlight, with good power regulation and battery capacity. The beam is a nice compromise between a spotlight and a floodlight. What I don't like is the way the power switch operates. Click one turns on the single dim red light, click two is full beam, and click three is SOS flashing mode. You cannot activate these separately, so if you turn it off, you have to click twice. If you use the dim red light, you have to go through the bright light and flashing mode, killing your night vision. Not well thought out. For that reason, I reserve it for emergency use. As a daily light, it's annoying.”
