    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Not a jewelry expert, can't tell you about the quality of the stones or metal, but here goes. The necklace is very ordinary, short chain, traditonal design,"pretty". The stones that hang down look blue the little side stones are hard to see, can't really see what color they are. I had to reread the discription to know they are white topaz. Am sending mine back.
