I bought this along with a 2 burner stove by Primus. They don't go together. the stove works with standard propane canister. this item is for a special primus fuel and it comes empty. if you have a way to get it filled and have a compatible stove you might like this as it seems light and durable. If you're like me you're stuck with a really scary looking water bottle.
Answer
This bottle is for stoves that use liquid fuels like white gas or kerosene. The Primus Solo Camo Stove is designed to use ISO-butane/propane gas canisters. Some examples of these fuel canisters are MSR 4 oz. IsoPro or Snow Peak Giga Power Fuel Canisters.

Question
“Can this bottle be connected with a stove without transferring to another container?”

Answer
Yes it can be connected to most liquid fuel backpacking stoves directly. An example of such a stove would be the MSR XCK EX multi-fuel Stove or the Primus Multi-fuel stove.
