I purchased this as an accessory for backyard cooking and family outings. Like previous reviewers I needed to soften some sharp edges of the cover with sandpaper. Also, I needed to shim two of the foot pads with rubber hose washers to balance the stove. The sheet metal construction evidently yielded to flexing but the stove is now balanced. Flame control takes a bit of patience and tweeking. The flame control is difficult to keep at a simmer. Overall, I like the stove despite the minor quirks because it is solid and the price was hard to beat.

I have not actually used the stove yet. I bought it as a backup for times when our electrical power goes out. It looks to be a well built stove.

I love my Primus backpacking stove, but wanted to add more flexibility to my car camping arsenal. Since it is winter here, I probably won't get to use this for a couple of months yet. Expect the Piezo ignition to work very well. Sharp edges are not an issue for me. I did need to wipe away a little excess oil from the manufacturing process - not a big deal. I'm excited to give it a try!

Grill removes for cleaning, stove top removes for cleaning, could use a 16oz propane prop to hold a 16oz tank upright though. Grease collection tray underneath, removable (nice). Can simmer, just work the knob slowly (slight delay, typical). I used Coleman 16oz tank (refilled from 5 gal propane tank, ok results).Would like to find a carrier for it and spare tanks; maybe sew up one. Fairly light with finger grip relief in center of edge for carry. Wish it were stiffer in design. Finish is okay, easy to wipe clean. Propane line is thick; maybe a little too stiff. Overall good design and ease of use; feel safe in letting other people use it. Only bug I don't like is location of piezo igniter button; it should be 90 degree to flat surface but where it is will allow a user to push on the stove without something to keep stove from being pushed around (and maybe off) a table, it should have had a finger hole to give the button pushing finger an opposing force. But nevertheless its a grill and single burner combined - perfect for car camping and spur of the moment picnic runs.

Have not used but it is great alternative to our old Colman two burner. Looking forward to using the grill function
