I bought this to use when car camping with the kids. It is small compared to the other stoves I saw at local stores. It is easy to light, clean, and cooled off fast. It was harder to simmer foods but very quick to reach boiling temperature. This is great for car camping not hiking! I have a small whisper for that. I just used regular Colman fuel canister with no problem.

I have owned and used a Primus Camp Mate stove much like this one for over 30 years and have nothing but good things to say about it. The flame control and fuel efficiency are both excellent. I've use it in windy conditions as well and it performed as hoped. No issues at all; very reliable and easy to use and clean. Highly recommended!

I have just used the sister product (the Atle BBQ stove) for two weeks camping on the seaside. The only difference to this one is that one of the burners has been replaced by a long BBQ burner and grill.
It performed well and did the job, even in windy conditions. Advantages: light, powerful, easy to clean and use. Disadvantages: Side panels are on the thiner side, there are some sharp edges, but these two should not really be a big problem, considering the discount.
I have not used other similar stoves, but this one has an adjustment range of only 3/4-1 knob turns, which turned out to be all right.
Its biggest flaw I consider to be the difficulty of lighting in windy conditions, which I managed to get around using some extra screening and sometimes an extra gas lighter.
STP and the manufacturer's notes about the types of usable cylinders ARE correct (this stove is especially fitted with a different connection for the US market). Home Depot has hose adapters (ACME QCC Type 1 female to CGA600 male), and if you are lucky, also 5 and 10lb smaller propane canisters available, fitted with the same connector as the standard 20lb cylinders.
Overall a good stove that performed well this summer.

This stove connects to regular Coleman canisters! Had to return the first one because of a gummed up connection fitting on the stove. STP was fast and easy. The second one works great! I gave it 4 stars because the wind screen allows wind to come in underneath with a straight shot to the burner. I'll have to see how it actually performs in the wind, but it seems problematic. I have a couple liquid fuel Coleman stoves, which are more cost effective fuel-wise, but I wanted this one for a no-spill propane option that was simpler to use for the whole family.

I returned the first one because the the threads on the stove propane attachment were gummed up with something and I couldn't thread the hose on. STP exchanged it quick and easy. Second one is great. I have an older white gas Coleman 2-burner stove, but I wanted the quick and easy propane option that this stove has. Grate is beefy. Stainless looks great and the drip tray should be a snap to clean. Windscreen has a design oversight, though, it allows the wind to come in underneath- direct shot to the burners. Haven't used it in the wind yet, so we'll see if it will be a real problem. Piezo-ignition is sweet! It does take regular propane canisters.

Well It's winter so I haven't gotten out there yet. Anyway, It looks like a great product by a reputable manufacturer, so I have no doubt it will perform.

I have never had a stove boil as fast as this thing. Hot water right now ! On the other hand, it is a little fussy about adjusting the low temps. Haven't tried to really simmer anything yet, but probably haveto keep an eye on things and stir often. Definately seconds. The stove I got doesn't open or close very well. So not a great item, just so so. And be carefull there is a lot of thin stainless sheet metal that may have sharp edges. But if the stove is set up when you get up in the cold you'll have hot coffee as fast as you can get the filters and cup organized. Uses regular propane bottles available almost anywhere. Igot mine at the gorcery store by the Charcoal.
