A good powerful stove-heats quickly. Not good for low temperature simmering, but good for general cooking.

You would be a fool not to buy this at this price if you need a stove. A step above Coleman stove, solid, push button start, extension hose, wind guard. Apparently seconds due to cosmetic blemishes, but I couldn't find any. Well done STP

I purchased for over night canoe trips, can't wait to use it this spring! Pack in a floating dry-bag in case of canoe problems.

We haven't used this yet but it looks great. When the power goes this means coffee is at hand.

I exchanged the 1 burner, 1 griddle stove for the two burner, so I have not used the exchage item yet. We took the griddle one camping and loved the regualr burner, but hated the grill. The surface came off the grill during the first use! The regular burner side worked well, however. As others have said, the temperature control is non existant. But it worked fine for boiling water, percolating coffee, cooking sauasage and cooking eggs. I have total confidence that the two burner will be a great improvement over the combo grill/stove.

Intend to use it car-camping, I use backpacking stoves for kayak camping. Haven't used this yet, but I do know the price is terrific and Primus has been manufacturing excellent stoves for many years. I put duct tape on the sharp edges-no problem. Upon inspection, it looks very well made.

good for trailer or car camping

Super easy to assemble and use. My husband just spent two hours assembling a gas grill. This took about two minutes. You just plug in the cannister, screw the connector tube into the side of the stove, and press the igniter button. The sharp sides discussed in other reviews aren't so terribly sharp. This Primus has a great design and is really easy to use and clean up. A big pot of water took about as long to heat up as it would on my stove at home. I was worried because the Primus was so cheap, but in fact it really IS a bargain. I paid about $45 with a discount, and since then have seen bulkier, used Colemans with more complicated designs for more than that. This is a great deal.
