    This is sold as a "second" but I can't see anything wrong with it. I used it around the house and yard to try it out and it works beautifully. It's going to be a great cold weather lamp, due to the heat output.

    This lantern accompanied me to Yosemite and it worked flawlessly. The single mantle gives ample light and the convenience of its use of isopro fuel can't be overstated. Used it to cook by and also (sparingly) in the tent. Note, the lantern does not have a self-igniter so it must be lit with a match or lighter. As a previous reviewer noted, this is a very quiet lantern. Overall, just a great little light.

    The lantern was so easy to setup and produced a nice bright yet soft light. I was able to use it with the MSR IsoPro isobutane/propane blend fuel canisters without with out any issues. Using an 8oz canister of fuel I got about 9+ hours of run time on full brightness. The included hanging cable was handy.

    Very bright lantern for its size, and very quiet. Comes in an extremely durable, protective plastic storage box. Cannot find any reason why it would be considered "2nds". Not limited to using Primus fuel canisters.....I used a diff brand, and it worked just fine. Looking forward to using this in the fish house this winter, and on upcoming hunting & camping trips.
