“Works but lacks finesse”

By HarisVerified Reviewer from Chicago, IL on 09/06/2008

Cons:
No Simmer
Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

What Is Your Gear Style:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“It burns well and can be fueled on many alternative fuels. I did not like the way it worked with white gas--can't simmer and flame is not evenly distributed around the burning ring. No fire where the hose comes in and excessive fire on the opposite side. The pot was covered with soot which is not supposed to happen with white gas. Otherwise, great stove, lights well, burns well, fuel lasts a long time, compact, easy to clean. Fine for boiling water or making soups. Anything solid is hard to cook.”
