Primus Litech Super Cook Set - 3 Piece, Titanium Non-Stick Coating

My only complaint with this is that the lid is too small for the frying pan. I scrambled eggs in it without any grease at all and was able to wipe it completely clean with very minimal scraping. Burnt fat also scraped off fairly easily. I have the little kettle (purchased separately) and it fits inside the smaller pan. The set came with some thick paper-like liners that I kept to use to keep the pans from rubbing together and maybe scratching each other when in storage. The set comes in a storage bag that is too big.

This product will work perfectly for our camping trips planned for this summer.

Plan to use this set at wilderness cabins in the Tongass National Forest in Alaska; should be great.

This set is very high quality and I happened to buy it while STP was having a sale, so the price couldn't have been better. The non-stick finish seems durable and the sizes and design of the pans will suit us fine. We are looking forward to using this during our summer camping trip!

I have cooked with this set. The non-stick works very well. Cookware heats even and fast. I have one concern: The bottom of these have a spiraled groove about 1mm wide cut into them (presumably to help with even heating). I would be very nervous about nesting these and having them bang around in my pack for a day. TO BE FAIR, THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED BUT I AM NOT GOING TO TEST IT. My fear is that the grooved surface on the bottom will wear away the non-stick coating on the pot beneath it. Once that coating is gone, you are cooking straight off of aluminum, yuck! I put rags between the pots, problem solved.

I'm very happy with the parts of the set used so far. Spent 4 days with the large pot, lid and lifter last week, and was very pleased. Heats evenly, and the non-stick coating made clean up easier than anything I've ever used, hi quality kitchenware included. The coating looks like it will provide long service. Yes, you can find lighter stuff, but I think this set is very suitable for all but most hyper-conscious weight freaks. And- you could buy quite a few of these sets for the cost of one decent size titanium pot.

This set is not for the back country. It is heavy and bulky. It is well-constructed, but is best suited for car and family camping. Aside from the weight, it is also bulky. The set is not designed so all the pieces nestle into a compact package as with many back country sets. The frying pand is much larger than the pot and is not designed to be used as a pot cover. It looks as though the pan was added to the set as an afterthought.

The quality seems good even though these are 2nds. I purchased these to use with a Primus Alte 2 burner stove. The handle on the fry pan seems a little weak, although I will have to verify as I haven't used yet. Comes with a nice quality stuff sack.
