“I have used this stove for about 9 years off and on mostly for personal backpacking and winter trips, it has never failed me in any conditions from winter trips to the Rockies to summer trips, great heat for boiling water or melting snow, yet can be used with the outback oven on canister fuel. It can be difficult to light on canister fuel at higher altitude. I agree It can be loud”
