“Lighter seems to work well so far, but it's the longevity factor that seperates the good from the bad. I agree the flip top seems kind of chintzy, I believe it has a lifetime warrenty which is what I look for. With the discounts it was quite cheap anyway, If it holds up it would be a good buy. I use this in my car, both 9 V power sources taken by satellite radio and radar detector. Barrel design- makes both ends similer when you reach for it without looking, I did not want the lanyard on there. I put a small key ring on it which helps designate one end from the other.”
