Handy butane torch. Works as well or better than more expensive brands. Great for heating small areas, but pin point flame width isn't adjustable. Every tool box should have one.

This device is for extreme temperature generation, not starting a fire or lighting your cigar. Flame is conical, focused, and fierce. Butane use is moderate, clip is cheap, and design is nice.

Lighter seems to work well so far, but it's the longevity factor that seperates the good from the bad. I agree the flip top seems kind of chintzy, I believe it has a lifetime warrenty which is what I look for. With the discounts it was quite cheap anyway, If it holds up it would be a good buy. I use this in my car, both 9 V power sources taken by satellite radio and radar detector. Barrel design- makes both ends similer when you reach for it without looking, I did not want the lanyard on there. I put a small key ring on it which helps designate one end from the other.

This is a good lighter to get a camp fire started. I mainly camp in a travel trailer so this should suit me just fine. I went to three different stores to find butane. The third store was a cigarette/cigar store. I plan on giving the second lighter as a Christmas gift.

Great product for electrical work on boats - heat shrink tube and terminals. Check for fuel vapors before using in bilge. No hassle with power cords.

Lights well; However just a slight breeze will blow the lighter out. Difficult to sustain flame with any wind. Would not depend on this as a sole source of flame when backpacking.

This lighter is handy and easy to use, fill and adjust. The cover is a little frail should be beefed up more.

This is a good lighter except for altitude. I have 2 of them. One quit at 9200 feet although the other worked. At 10,500 feet the other one wouldn't work period.
