Great buy.

I bought this specifically for use with my woodgas burning SoloStove, a Bushbuddy clone. The stove, in its cloth bag along with a backup popcan alcohol stove, fits perfectly inside this Primus AluTech kettle, with room left over in the provided bag for a 4 oz. bottle of alcohol. This pot is compact and perfect for boiling water or cooking a meal for one or two. No need for expensive titanium cooking jewelry; hard anodized aluminum is just as tough and distributes stove heat more efficiently and evenly, and costs a whole lot less. The simple lid fits well and isn't designed to pretend to be a frypan or anything else but a lid. There are a few steam vent holes, and I drilled some small holes near the opposite perimeter to function as strainer holes for noodles, rice, or whatever. Very functional equipment.

This set is very high quality and I happened to buy it while STP was having a sale, so the price couldn't have been better. The non-stick finish seems durable and the sizes and design of the pans will suit us fine. We are looking forward to using this during our summer camping trip!

We prepare gourmet foods while camping, and this cookware fits the bill. I especially like that food doesn't stick, even when cooking at high heat.

Love this set. It's easy to clean, cooks well, and packs nicely.

This kettle is a little small but that allows it to nest inside the Primus cooking set. Great for one or two people but not for a group.

I have cooked with this set. The non-stick works very well. Cookware heats even and fast. I have one concern: The bottom of these have a spiraled groove about 1mm wide cut into them (presumably to help with even heating). I would be very nervous about nesting these and having them bang around in my pack for a day. TO BE FAIR, THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED BUT I AM NOT GOING TO TEST IT. My fear is that the grooved surface on the bottom will wear away the non-stick coating on the pot beneath it. Once that coating is gone, you are cooking straight off of aluminum, yuck! I put rags between the pots, problem solved.

At home, I am a hot-beverage snob. Outdoors, my idea of luxury changes quite a bit. This kettle is surprisingly light and heats water FAST. It takes up some room in a pack but you can just fill it with other items (like packets of hot chocolate and VIA), problem solved! The mouth is large enough that I can actually clean the inside. The inside has a non-stick coating.
