Princeton Tec Apex Pro Headlamp

I use this product for hours-on-end inside of pipelines. I wish I'd known there was another similar light that runs off of four AAA's rather than two CR123's like this one. CR123 batteries are very expensive.

Wanted a bright, sturdy headlamp for recreational caving. Has plenty of brightness options allowing for a bright light for regular caving and a very bright beam when needed. Since we always carry three sources of light, use another light with extended battery life for backup.

Ive have owned several of there headlamps very hand and reliable. I use if for almost anything, at home, during a run, changing tires, is so easy to use I just take out the strap for the top part and use is as a standalone. Sometimes i even prefer it over my surefire G2.

Light, easy to turn on and off, and the variable brightness makes it useful in multiple situations.

The STP indicates that these are 130 lumens. However, when I got the package, there is a sticker that states 200lumens. I called and was informed that these were indeed 200 lumens with the accurate sticker over the old 130 lumens. However, I then got an email from someone else at STP stating that these were 130 lumens. I bought this as a gift and can't use for such now because I don't know what the headlamp really is. HOWEVER, it's a great headlamp regardless and don't want to give a misrepresented gift to someone. I know STP has great deals and great prices, but this purchase left me frustrating. However, again; the STP customer service outdid themselves in trying to help me. I will continue shopping with STP and will call to clarify if an item is a second if I plan to give as a gift. I love my unexpected new headlamp. It is bright, easy to use, dependable, comfortable and a great low price. Thanks
