I was looking for the lightest and brightest lamp I could get for night time training on mountain trails. nice product but always hate burning through batteries. If it came with a rechargeable battery pack would give it a star. there is a 200 lumen with that option so may end up getting one of those as well.

Great headlamp that fits well and is light to wear, ability to switch between task lighting and search beam light is a very nice feature.

I was looking for the lightest and brightest lamp I could get for night time training on mountain trails. I normally carry a BD Icon Polar when actually in the field, but that's a bit much for quick hikes behind the house. This lamp excels in every way...It's light, the controls are dead-simple and easy to use, the brightness levels are impressive and cover the whole array of what you need to see, battery life is excellent (about 7-8 hrs on the bright flood setting) and I just couldn't be happier with this head lamp, especially for the price. I'm honestly thinking about getting another one just to have as a spare. Excellent lamp that you won't regret getting ahold of.
