A lightweight, small, but amazingly bright light. A must for backup survival tasks or just a convenient way to stay out of the dark. Good to have for out of the way small technical tasks.

When you are camping at Lake Powell, you can never have enough backup lights. This is a handy little light to stash in a drawer, compartment or backpack pouch.

Needed a pocketable single led light but wanted something better than the 2 dollar cheapies. Have bought Princeton Tec lights in the past and have been pleased. Unfortunately, this one had a broken switch. The light could turn on but it would not turn off. Had to remove the batteries to turn off the light. Even checked the Princeton Tec website to be sure was not user error. Never bothered to return due to low cost of item vs. cost to return. Otherwise, when on it is a VERY bright lite for the size. Definitely brighter than the cheapies. Would buy another if I could ensure I got one that worked.

I have now bought three of these total, they are nice functional little light sources for a quick nighttime restroom break, and convenient for the 1001 things for which you can use a small easily located light on your pack or bag. The downside is that they are not as securely retained in their carrier as they need to be. If you put one on your pack shoulder strap, you're guaranteed to dislodge it donning your pack sooner or later. They need a lanyard attachment point on the light so you can attach a small leash to keep it from falling off into the weeds...When you realize that's happened, it's generally too late. Great little light, but put it in a safe location on your pack where it won't easily get knocked off.

This is a great little backup light to keep around. I keep one on the strap of my headlamp and one on the shoulder-strap of my pack. They are not very bright, but good enough for working around camp or in the tent. They'll get you down the trail in a pinch, but only as a last resort. The fact that they aren't too bright makes them great for finding stuff in the the tent at night so you don't go completely night-blind from a high-power headlamp. I wish it came in a red led version too, as that would be even better for night use around camp. The blinking mode may save battery life, but I haven't really found it very effective to use.

I got several as gifts/rewards for scouts and scouters. I also throw a couple in a pack or vehicle, just in case. Attach to packs or anything with a strap. They are quite handy little devices as secondary/emergency light source. However, I have used one as a primary on a rim-to-rim in the Grand Canyon during an early morning hike to avoid the mid-day heat. It worked pretty well to beat the dark but not the heat.

Great little light to have on shoulder strap of backpack. Great for light in tent/bivy. Great for use when orienteering in low light/night. Generally really handy. 3 Stars because I have broken 2 out of 4. I am pretty hard on my gear though.
