“If you don't mind the weight to have a backup light, this stays somewhat out of the way on a headstrap, is not extremely dim, and can be pointed in one dimension. It is, however, seemingly unduly bulky -- I suspect this could be made less bulky through design, and perhaps brighter for the battery life with a current LED. If nobody else makes one and this one hasn't been updated, I'd recommend it since it's the only backup light on a strap that I've seen and that's a useful function. I'm dubious about weather-resistance as with most headlamps.”
