Pro Cam-Fis

Nice casual jacket. Lots of pockets, not lined but a heavier canvas like shell. The small was very full cut, to big for me (37R, 31 waist). It is casually styled without looking military, but because it's so big I'm sending it back.

Purchased this for a friend who leads equine packs for forest work, outfitting, and wildfire rescue. It would have been perfect except for one thing...there is not slit/opening in the back which makes this poor for horseback riding especially as it is a little longer than your usual jacket. It would undoubtedly bunch up. I was sorry to send it back but it doesn't fit the need. It would be terrific for other outdoor activities, including photography, birding, fishing, hunting, hiking, but not for activities requiring sitting for extended periods of time.

As a photographer in the field, I carry lots of accessories of different sizes and shapes, and need many of them to be immediately-accessible, rather than having to reach in my bag all the time. While there are photographers' vests out there, they don't suit all my needs, including weather protection, multi-sized pockets both inside and outside the jacket, removable sleeves for different temperatures, and so on. This jacket/vest has it all, and the quality - wow! I'm a 5'5" 138 lb. female and I ordered the man's small. Perfect fit. I many not fish, but I catch lots of photo action in the water! :)

I use this for Search & Resue work. I have all I need on the trail in the vest. I did not mind that it was over sized because I can wear it over winter clothes & alone in the heat. The back pockets allow me to carry water for me & the dog. Works great! I was lucky to find it because I have been looking for the right mesh vest for a long time. Nan

I use only as vest,hold extra lens's filters, extra camera battery and card, zip lock baggies for camera, carry contract bag to sit on, snacks, water bottles, toilet paper,wet wipes knife and rubber gloves. Small compass, lens wipes,snipes, and small flash light. regular gloves. Insect repelent. I'm sure I forgot something!

Love this shirt! Very comfortable. Use it for work, fishing and casual ware. Nice size pockets. Use the top zipper pockets for my iPhone and other valuables I don't want to lose. Love it so much I later bought another one.

For hot days on a river for smallies, you can't beat this.

I bought this jacket to fish in but it is too nice and stylish for that. I generally wear a 2XL. I bought the XL based upon an earlier review. The XL fits me great with room to spare. I highly recommend this jacket.

I bought this jacket to replace a beloved Orvis dry fly jacket I wore out years ago. This jacket is BETTER than my much more expensive Orvis. Firstly I am so pleasantly surprised that this jacket has (count-em) 17 pockets! The front lower bellows pockets are actually 4 pockets in one. The bellows pocket, two slip in pockets behind it, and a hand warmer like side pocket behind them all! The three interior pockets are excellent, the breast interior zip pocket is large the lower interior zip pocket can handle binoculars with room to spare and the other lower interior velcro pocket is 14x10 inches WOW! All zippers are YKK and are smooth and sturdy. The material is a nice weight cotton and is lined with the same material. The stand up style collar can be trained to set down in a more standard way if you prefer or can be flipped up for more coverage, storm flap is great I hardly ever review a product but this one deserved my time. Its a steal at what sierra is asking for it who by the way were thoughtful enough to include a pre-paid UPS label addressed to their returns dept. should I have wanted to return it. I love this jacket so much I'm wearing it to bed tonight and am seriously considering purchasing another for when I wear this one out!

Many pockets ... most are well thought out and very functional. Coat length is excellent for CCW use as a casual wear outer garmet. Snap closure cuffs open easily and may be rolled out of the way. Zipper could be just a bit heavier ... may be the weak point. Very light weight and doesn't open from the bottom. In a long waist coat that would be a good thing. Wind flap covering zipper is outstanding. Snaps could be just a bit closer together though. Overall, in just a few days use, I would say this is an excellent purchase! thanks, Mike
