    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I spent seven days in these boots and the sole of the left heel basically exploded; I am 5'10" 185lbs. Did about 5 miles of walking and probably three times that in the streams. I would be leary of this boot. Felt sole seems to be fine, fit was good - I normally wear a 9.5 shoe and got size 10 boot. The Korkers that I have lasted for 3 years before I had any problems with them.

    I am an avid steelheader thought this was a good deal total waste of money wore three four times and bottoms fell off appeared to be glued on with Almere glue

    These boots started to disintegrate after the second wearing. Boots started to crack and finally the sole came off after about 5 months.

    Used these boots for a week in Montana, after 2 days the left heel was bulging but the felt stayed in tact with the sole. By the end of the trip they were pretty well done. Used them two more days on the Klickitat and threw them away because the entire left heel was spongy and literally falling apart. You get what you pay for and my new Redington's that I got through STP are superior to these boots
