“We've been using the lids as a cover when we use the microwave. Works great! We were using other dishes so as not to use plastic wrap - the dishes get hot. These seal well AND aren't hot. The strainer/trivit is handy too. My husband wondered why I didn't save it and give it to him as a Christmas gift - he like it that much. Go figure.”
