It looks like they're a cheap made shoes, I could also see some serious marks on the boots near the sole. Overall a bad buy for me, not sure if STP is going to do anything about it.

One of the felt soles had come off after about 5 minutes of walking before entering the river. The other sole fell off after about 15 minutes of fishing in the river. I sent them back the next day.

Unfortunately, I had to return the boots for a full refund because they were defective. The first time I put them on, the right heel fell off right away, and it could not be repaired, i.e. glued back on to the sole since the whole sole portion of the boot crumbled like sand!

The fit was ok and the price at STP low, so I bought the rubber soled Proline boots instead, adn returned these. -

Within a couple hours of use, the crew reported the felt sole completely falling off on one pair. The other pair's heel broke off! Looks like the last batch STP received was bad (see previous reviews). Thankfully the return process here at STP is great. Now to find new ones. Stay away from these wading boots!
