Proline Wading Boots with Studded Sole (For Men)

These are my first pair of wading boots and I think I made a good choice. First time out in the Truckee River with ice and slick boulders these gave a very good grip. I hope they continue to keep me happy. Went with one size larger than other boots and they fit just right.

Well? used many waders before that were much more expensive but this is by far the best value for what is out in the market today. I bought one with the studs on the bottom and tested on the Kern river in California where the rocks are so slippery because of all the white water flow it's known for and fast current made them so smooth over the decades...but much to my surprise it had great grip on the rocks and I did not fall in the water once. With the felt only boots, I will slip and fall twice or so each time I fish there but no more falling in the water period! light enough and very comfortable... Great boots and you can't beat the price either! I belong to a forum for Kern river and someone warned me not wear boots with studs but boy am I glad that I did not listen to that fellow fisher. I should write to him to buy this product for himself as well...

Like the fit and weight; grips okay; takes longer to dry than most oceans in my soggy climate. I'll comment on durabilty next year.

1ST TIME OUT I WAS FISHING A TROUT STREAM WITH A LIGHT SNOW COVERING ON THE GROUND AND THE TEMP WAS IN THE MID TEENS. THE BOOTS DID NOT SLIP ONCE AND PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY! ONLY TIME WILL TELL HOW THEY WILL HOLD UP ON THE LONG RUN WHICH I WILL SURELY FIND OUT SINCE I FISH 12 MONTHS A YEAR.

I've used this wading boot for the past three years and it's performed flawlessly in northwest and Alaska streams and rivers. Felt and cleats have held up well. Not for use in a boat as the cleats will rip flooring up.

I purchased these boots for Australian conditions. First trip out waded Lake Wartook shore for 2 kilometres on silty bottom, boots were as comfortable as I could wish for. I gambled on a size bigger as I have a wide foot (had read this in a review) very good advise as boots were perfect! very pleased and surprisingly lightweight, easy to get on and off.

Great boots. They seem to be well made and they have great grip on slippery rocks. Great Value!

These boot are excellent for the money, would not get better at this price.

These boots are comfortable to use right out of the box. They have great traction on rocky and moss covered rock bottom. I would caution that they do tear up the boards on the bottom of the boat and if you don't want scratching or digging marks they are not for you! If you can put down a sheet of 1/4" plywood to protect the floor then they are great. Sure footedness and no slipping at all.
