    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have several down vests, and wear them a lot, so always searching for another one! The outer fabric on this one is nice looking, but it attracts dust, lint, etc. The "stuff" it attracts doesn't want to brush off easily either. My other vests just don't do that! I did order the black "puffa", so it is noticeable on this color. The fit is flattering, the two way zipper is great! I can't keep this vest though because it won't stay looking good for long. Must have fashion and function in one!

    The perfect down vest. True to size, fitted just enough so you don't look like the Michelin man. It is very lightweight yet warm. It's my first Puffa vest, and I'm sold!

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I was looking specifically for a vest that would be really warm without being too bulky or too outdoorsy-looking. (Read: I love North Face products, but I love them in extreme weather - not necessarily in California winter streetwear situations.) This vest is pretty fashion-forward and really warm with a super soft fabric, and it's not as puffy as some other vests. Sizing is true to size. It doesn't have the features of a true outdoors brand (North Face) - no double-taped seams, no stow pocket, no zipper pockets. This is all right with me, as I didn't get this for a slope. But if you want a vest for snowboarding or some other sport, you're best off with North Face or Patagonia, etc - i.e. a brand that specifically designs for activity rather than fashion. That being said, I love this vest, and the price was fantastic. It's not as warm as the North Face Nuptse vest, but of course that vest is a 700 fill. Then again, putting a North Face fleece underneath the vest and you're nice and toasty. Great vest!
