She says they are very lightweight and comfortable but the sole is thin and they do not provide the same level of cushion and support she is used to in a workout shoe.
However, she loves the way they look and plans to use them for casual wear. The purple color is a big plus! -

The fabric is different--the darker purple parts are mesh, and the lighter purple is a little more structured fabric. They are very cute though, and functional. I wear an 8.5/9 and I ordered a 9 in these because I would rather my workout shoes be a little big than a little small, and they fit perfect!

Super cute, but odd sizing!Reviewed by TriCoach from San Diego on Monday, March 10, 2014I wear a 8.5 in most womens running shoes (Mizunos favorite, Nikes, etc.) So I figured 8.5 would work in these. WAY too big! So much that I looked up sizing measurements and was pulling out a ruler to figure out how many sizes I needed to go down. Apparently what is an 8.5 in my other shoes = 7.5 in these. Returned, and reordered the full size down, and now love them! Not a whole lot of support, about zero in the arch, but they are minimalist shoes. Honestly I bought them for filming workout videos, and for that purpose they work just fine. They are bright and cute! The upper is actually semi see-through, so if you go sockless, you can see your toes. They are light weight.
