Pura Vida Cotton Camisole and Blouse Set (For Women)

This blouse just happens to work well for me. I never thought I'd get into the Pura Vida size 6, but I made it. The style is a bit out of the ordinary so not for everyone. The color is somewhere between a purple and a brown...really odd. Besides needing some TLC in the wash & serious ironing...I like it. Like the ecletic lapel & decorations. And so do my girlfriends! I would never attempt to wear just the camisol. I took a chance on ordering this, and it just happens to work. I like that it can be easily dressed up or down-wear it with a denim skirt...it works with heels OR Root Boots! Ecletic!

The flower looks great in the photo, but, looks horrid in person and even worse after laundering.

Very Cute, but the color is a little dingier than expected. Also, it is sort of short. My long-waisted friends would not be able to wear this.

The cami was several inches too short and doesn't stay "tucked behind" the trim waist of the over shirt. It's an awkward, horrid fit. One gentle wash and hang dry and the flower was frayed.

The flower on the waist looked cute in the picture, but looks pretty raggedy in real life.

Meh - its ok. Don't wear a white bra, it is very sheer. I bought this for the office but it is too revealing. I am keeping for really hot days. Not super impressed with the quality of this garment.

Great shirt. More like grape color then brown. Very nice color. I read all the reviews about Pura Vida skirts, dresses etc and everyone said the clothes ran extremely small. So, I ordered the large on this shirt. Large it was! I am a 36-c and it was rather puffy around the back and above the waist. Too bad, too big. I would say this shirt runs true to size. I would normally wear a medium. It is a two-piece shirt, they are not connected which gives the blouse more versatility - also the undershirt is very soft. It is a unique and elegant piece to wear with almost anything. Just get your true size.

This is a cute set, tho it is so sheer that you really have to keep the overshirt piece on unless you're comfortable essentially baring all. It's great for hot & humid days when you want to dress up just a little. One cosmetic drawback is a big applique flower (?) on one side just below the gathered waist - it's almost like they had some leftover materials they wanted to get rid of, so they just stuck them there. Otherwise I really like it.

I will wear this to the office, and out with friends. It's an attractive cut. The rhinestones on the collar and big "flower" at the waist are not really the usual thing I would buy but the attractive design makes up for it.
