Pura Vida Organdy Skirt - Cotton (For Women)

This skirt has two layers. The under layer is very smooth but the top is quite stiff and almost paper like. I was expecting something "floaty" but this is more "poofy" - it reminds me of a 50's crinoline skirt, except the crinoline part is on the outside. Also, the seams are sewn raw edge out, so after washing I have to iron it and cut off lots of little strings. Kind of a lot of work for a casual skirt. However, it fits nicely and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it, so will continue to wear it.

This a very fun skirt. The stiff material on the outside is unusual. It turns a sort of "classic" style puffy 50's skirt into something much more modern and offbeat. I love it and will wear it to parties, probably not to church, and would not buy one for my 65 year old mother. Slim in the waist.

Ugh, very disappointed with this cheaply made, frayed-seamed mess of a skirt. Looked like something the cat dragged in minus the mud.

With its inside-out seams, this fun skirt is a debutante's frothy dream, deconstructed. Become your inner ballerina, minus the saccharine. And machine wash, no ironing!

Very versatile, can be dressed up or down. Love this item.
