    although he design of this dress was very nice and the fabric of good quality.. the workmanship was poor. the fabric around the zipper was all "poofy" which made the fit very unattractive. i was disappointed i had to send it back

    The dress is pretty and a nice summery weight. The back has a big pucker/poofyness where the skirt meets the elasticized back. Too much fabric there.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The dress itself is beautiful, much prettier than in the picture. It is fully lined and the colors are gorgeous. However, the first thing you should do when you take it out of the box is RIP THE STRAPS OFF. Then sew them back on yourself. I failed to do this (or even look at the straps closely), and the first time I wore it one of the straps got caught on something and broke, leaving me half naked in a very public place. I was able to cover up, and when I got home I inspected the intact strap; it had only ONE stitch through it, and came off the dress with one quick tug (and I'm not superwoman). I sewed both straps back on, and the dress is now wearable and should not generate any more "wardrobe malfunctions." The other problem with the dress is the lack of a built in bra. With a halter style like this, a shelf bra would really be nice. Since the dress is lined, it isn't that big of a deal, as you can wear it without anything underneath and get away with it. But given the problems with the straps, you may want a strapless bra on underneath anyway, just in case.
