    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The fit was okay, since I followed everyone's advice and ordered an XL (I usually wear small). But the material is acrylic, and it just doesn't look very nice.

    I am typically a small to extra small size. This sweater was way too short...the bottom hit above the waist and the sleeves hit 2 inches above the wrist. It was also so snug that I felt the seams might break. The picture needs to be shrunk in the vertical direction to portray how it really looks.

    I like the sweater a lot. It's a little bit dressy and the open work on the sleeves makes it a little different. But beware! I'm usually an 8 and I needed the XL size, which JUST fits. It's very short, almost cropped, so I would NOT recommend it for tall people.
