Closeouts. In a silver-speckled knit adored with oversized, faceted-jewel buttons, Pure Handknit's Cosmic Crush sweater creates a sweet, special-occasion silhouette with a bit of feminine gather at the empire waist and bell sleeves.

Couldn't resist the beautiful shade of turquoise and so glad I didn't; The red is definitely a holiday sweater but the turquoise can be worn before & after the holidays. Looking forward to wearing with white jeans, black pants and a bunch of things. I notice the mildly scratchy threads on the turquoise, not so much on the red. I tried them on over a light cotton long-sleeved tee. As long as there's no wool, I'm fine. Will wear the turquoise over a more substantial cotton top. Both are beautifully finished.

Fantastic! Fits perfectly & I wasn't sure it would. The model is smaller-chested than I and one reviewer thought the style was not good for someone who is large-chested. I am a 34D & the S/M fits beautifully. The ribbing on top conforms to your contours without looking stretched out or tight. The lower part of the bodice has a slightly flared shape that mirrors the arms but with less of a bell than the sleeve has. Really cute design. Because of the reviews, I was expecting the big shiny buttons. In fact I was expecting bigger, heavier buttons! They're actually fairly flat but look like super-sized gemstones because of reflective surfaces inside. They are lightweight. Glad I sprang for this holiday sweater! Bought it a super price.

I debated about keeping this sweater for some time and finally sent it back because I already have a red cotton sweater. The style is adorable with a closer fitting knit up top and then a slight bell at the bottom, but not too much. It is really cute and would make a good holiday sweater due to the gold threads and the crystal-looking buttons. I decided that I could only wear it at the Christmas holiday unless I changed the buttons. If I changed the buttons, then it would be fine all season. I like the 100% cotton fabric.

I really wanted to love this sweater. The purple was a great color, and as others advised, I was planning on it being a dressy item. However, the fit isn't great for large chested women, and it just didn't look right on me. Unfortunately it is going back.

I bought the red sweater and am overall pleased with the quality and fit. I could tell from the photo that the sweater had some sparkle to it, but I didn't know that the buttons would be like giant cubic zarconia (sp?) jewels. While I considered returning it (a little too much bling action on the large buttons) I decided to add it to my "holiday wear" collection.
