Question “I would like to know if this pan can be used for layer cakes, or is it suppose to merely replace a spring form. I would never make a layer cake in a spring form. The description seems to indicatate a layer cake would work, but after receiving the product, it seems too deep. I wonder about taking it off the bottom, as one would with a layer cake? Layer cakes are more fragile and a different consistency than a cheese cake, or even a cofffee cake. I looked on their website, but still couldn't figure it out! You probably can't help me, but worth at try!! Thanks!”
