I bought these for a 4-day 45 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail. I didn't have a lot of time to break them in, but no need!! Hiked over 10 miles each day carrying 28 lbs and didn't get a single blister!! I used medium to heavy weight hiking socks and fit was snug but not too tight. These Keens ... Read More

I was slightly concerned about ordering shoes online as it's hard to find a good fit for my feet. But these were well worth it. They are comfortable, sturdy and quality made. I would recommend them to anyone.

Haven't worn them outside the house yet (breaking them in a bit), but I'm excited with how great these boots feel and look. Great price and a good name brand. Thanks Sierra Trading Post.

I wear a 7 N shoe, purchased these in 7.5; perfect length. Surprisingly enough my narrow feet do not slip and slide in this boot. Your feet go "Ahhhhhhh" when you slide them in ~ the toe box is so roomy without being too roomy. I have an awful time buying anything for my feet. I don't think you'll go wrong, the price is amazing on this site. I tried them on in a retail store before buying from STP. I don't feel the rocks gouging in under foot, & they seem to have great grip going down the trail.

  • Question “do these laces need to be tied?”
Asked on 12/17/2010 12:00:00 AM by eastone from Unknown
    • Answer Yes, you have to lace the top part of the boot around the ankle and tie the laces.
Answered on 12/21/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer Yes - they need to be tied. They have a clever design that pulls the support straps around the heel firmer when you pull on the laces.

    • Answer Yes. They wrap around the little clips on the side and tie in the front. It's hard to tell from the photo.
