Reviewed by Greybeard from Charlotte NC on Thursday, March 28, 2013I run outdoors in the winter and have tried numerous base layers. Silk, poly, bamboo and everything inbetween. This is the most comfortable of all with the exception of silk and the best wicking. This is a low cost alternative to silk and is warmer than bamboo. The long tail is great for wearing outside my shorts/pants and keeping my lower extremeties warm without any binding. I have two of these and gave one to my 6''5" son and he loves it.

I wear this under my longsleve uniform shirt and body armour and this keeps me warm in 20-30 degree weather. Very pleased and great price. Im only 5'7 but the tall men choice was the only ones left. Its a little long but I tuck it in. I recomend for anyone that has to work in the cold. Im just waiting for them to stock some more black colored ones and Ill be ordering more.

Question “Is this product exactly as in the picture or are there variations? I've ordered a similar product before and the neck ring and cuff's were somewhat bulky and a little more difficult to tuck in under my uniform shirt, which is what I want this for. The picture indicates very small neck ring and small cuffs on this product.”

Answer Cuffs are double thick (two layers) and crew neck is like a mini-mock turtleneck. If you have to button the top button on a snug uniform shirt it will be tight! Works great under my casual clothes with a loose collar.

Answer The sleeve length for a size L is 39 1/2" and the arm pit to cuff measures 26 1/2".

Answer I am tall from the waist up - long arms. I often wear it with the cuffs turned back and they are still plenty log.
