They were a little too tight and a little too scratchy for me at first, but after two washings they are just fine.

Great price. Quality product. I bought four as I wear these late Fall to early Spring. My wife introduced me to silk long underwear many years ago. They are VERY comfortable; not bulky; does not make me sweat. STP had the best price I have seen anywhere. The ordering was easy on the website and it arrived at my doorstep very quickly.

I use one pair of these per year during the cold winter months. They are very comfortable and add a noticeable amount of protection with no bulk, which is useful for sports involving precise movement. I am a figure skater, and these do the job quite well. However, they are delicate and usually develop tears and holes before one year of use, so I have to get a new pair each season.

  • Question “My boyfriend is tall and lanky and has a 30 waist. Will the small be ok or do these have a very tight waistband?”
Asked on 2/2/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer The waist is true to size but the inseam may be short for him.
Answered on 2/8/2011 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer No. The waist band on mine was very comfortable, plus silk gives to lend a comfortable fit. The fly is a bit tricky, but pulling underwear up solves the problem.
Answered on 3/17/2011 12:00:00 AM by azza1951 from Cleveland, Ohio
    • Answer I buy the medium for a 34 inch waist, and they seem true to size. However, keep in mind that if the size is a problem, silk will wear out long before you decide you can no longer tolerate a fit problem. You will only get about 10 wearings maximum out of a pair of these. So whether you have the right size or the wrong size, there is not much time to agonize over it before you need to buy another pair, and then you can adjust the size as needed.
