As a late middle aged women, I have turned to turtlenecks to cover crepe-y neck. I have many-Cotton has been so popular that I first got many of these, BUT, THEY SOON STRETCH OUT OF SHAPE, and TAKE ON A COTTON-Y odor after some wear--won't buy any more pure Cotton shirts. For me they must be a cotto...

I bought these turtlenecks for myself (Large size) and I am 5'6" and 150 pounds...these fit my 12 year old son who weighs 98 lbs perfectly for skiing. So unless you are a tiny short adult, buy them for your kids!@ The quality is great...very breathable and well made

Okay, the sleeves appear short but they really are not too short. I think it is because the cuffs are larger than usually. Also, this shirt does not run small. I usually wear a medium but often wear a large so I purchased a large based on other reviews. The fit is fine, definitely looser, not fitted. I got the orange and the gold. The orange is great. The gold is not a bright yellow gold as it appears online, but rather a dark beige gold. Not the prettiest color but it's fine.

It will be fitted, as to how tight depends on the size of your neck.

I'm a 5'7" size 10 with an average sized neck and I debated on ordering a Medium or a Large and went with the Large. The body of the turtleneck is fairly loose, so a Medium might have been a bit better for the body, but the neck was just right on the Large, not too loose and not too tight. (Also I think the medium would have been even shorter than the large. On me, the large is JUST long enough to tuck into pants.) I like these turtlenecks very much.

It fits snugly around the neck. Overall fit is small so I would recommend ordering one size larger than your usual size. I usually wear a medium top and had to exchange this one for a large. The large fits well but snugly all over.

It is kind of tight around the neck, but that also depends on what size you get. I ordered an xl and it was tight around the neck as well as everywhere else. If I got a size that fit me better, it would probably be a 2x or 3x and would be looser around the neck and body. Overall, I would say that if you can find a shirt that fits correctly, it will not be too tight around the neck.

After wearing it is is too small for the sizing and tight everywhere including the neck. Get a larger size.
