The quality was very good and the dark red a nice color. It is very form fitting and although I could keep and wear the small, I decided to return it for a medium. I am now in the process of returning it.

Based on the many reviews that this turtleneck fits small, I ordered two Large, one in blue and one in pink. The blue one fits perfectly, like a medium size while the pink one fits like an actual large. The labels in both shirts are identical. When I overlaid them, the larger one is about 3/4" wider and longer on all sides. Consequently, the shirt flops and the turtleneck is very loose around the neck. The fabric is very comfortable and feels nice on the skin. I am dismayed however about the inconsistent sizing even when they're from the same lot. I would like to exchange the one that is too large, but I don't have any confidence now that I would get a replacement that fits. If it weren't for the sizing discrepancy, I'd give the shirt 5 stars.
Question
“Hello C.S.- I generally wear a L size sometimes XL- depending upon the cut. I'm broad shouldered- big necked 5'6" w/ a slight kangaroo pouch[unfortunately]. I am trying to order the correct size so I can order my favorite color & not be bummer if I need to exchange colors- to find out the color I want is gone- past unfortunate experiences. Thank You”

Question
“does the turtleneck fit tight around the neck or is it loose?”

Answer
It will be fitted, as to how tight depends on the size of your neck.

I'm a 5'7" size 10 with an average sized neck and I debated on ordering a Medium or a Large and went with the Large. The body of the turtleneck is fairly loose, so a Medium might have been a bit better for the body, but the neck was just right on the Large, not too loose and not too tight. (Also I think the medium would have been even shorter than the large. On me, the large is JUST long enough to tuck into pants.) I like these turtlenecks very much.

It fits snugly around the neck. Overall fit is small so I would recommend ordering one size larger than your usual size. I usually wear a medium top and had to exchange this one for a large. The large fits well but snugly all over.

Answer
It is kind of tight around the neck, but that also depends on what size you get. I ordered an xl and it was tight around the neck as well as everywhere else. If I got a size that fit me better, it would probably be a 2x or 3x and would be looser around the neck and body. Overall, I would say that if you can find a shirt that fits correctly, it will not be too tight around the neck.

Answer
After wearing it is is too small for the sizing and tight everywhere including the neck. Get a larger size.
