Unlike most wicking shirts this has the heft of a traditoinal cotton turtleneck. Plus it is slghtly loose like a cotton turtleneck I wear it with shell jacket in 30 degree ski weather. I wear it almost all ski seaon in virginia. not too light and not too heavy

This is a very heavy weight top and is a great base layer for cold weather activities. I've been wearing it for cold weather bike riding and it works well. the zipper at the neck is a great feature for controlling ventilation and keeping out the cold air. I wish I'd bought more of these, I definitely will.

    Size was true to size.

This would be a very good shirt if the shirt tail wa not so long. I am 5'10" and have too much shirt tail to stuff in my trousers.

    • Answer Heavy. Almost feels like a quilted top (though it isn't). Smooth on the outside and fuzzy on the inside.
